A small change to our delivery options and some fantastic new beer!

Welcome to our blog – We have been busy adding some fantastic new breweries and beers and have some amazing tasting boxes available in sessionable pales, Stronger Pales/IPA’s/DIPA’s/TIPA’s and a stouts selections.  These all offer great discounts and include the best the craft scene has to offer in their style.  We have reduced our flat rate delivery fee for those orders below our free delivery threshold to £6.95 to reflect a great deal we have snapped up with APC who are now our sole delivery option.  We have also reduced the minimum spend for free nationwide delivery to just £70.  Free ultra delivery upto 6 miles from BL4 now starts at £35 and local delivery upto 20 miles from BL4 is £40.

This weekend we brought an absolute stellar selection of from Overtone with a Pale, IPA, DIPA, and TIPA.  All are incredible and show off the consistency and brilliance Overtone are producing at the moment.  Grab the DIPA box today and put in the notes you would like the Overtone collection and we will make it happen while our limited stock allows.

We also have another new brewery in Pentrich joining us later this week along with the stunning classic “Saturated in Nelson” from Deya, definitely a week to watch out for!

Welcome to our blog – A huge order of stouts are due in this week and we are going to celebrate by offering all new subscription boxes at incredible value.  The dark box includes new brewery additions to the site in the form of ATOM, LITTLE CRITTERS, GWEI-LO, THIRST CLASS ALE and site favourites MBH, BEATNIKZ, SEVEN BRO7HERS Plus much more.  Final details on the case options will be available this week.  Exciting times ahead

Welcome to our blog – we have been busy reviewing new products from Jacqson Spirits  and Polly’s BrewCo.  We have also added an ultra local delivery option to our website which allows anyone located within 6 miles of our distribution centre to get free same day delivery* terms when spending just £20.   We also created variable case sizes 6-12-18-24 to allow mix and match with some fantastic deals and savings on larger cases.

We have lots more to add with the addition of carefully selected Wine and Fizz next week and two more outstanding breweries.  I will update as soon as we have stock delivered but to tease I would say one brewery is nationally renowned for it’s modern IPA’s among others and the second having some of the worlds highest rating stouts!

Polly’s Shaky Tail DDH IPA Fruity! – Tangerines, hazy, very pal in colour with a luxury thickness.  This IPA delivers a full mouthfeel of citrusy goodness.  Oranges up front with a slightly bitter limes finish.  This is an outstanding pale form Polly’s who are delivering some of the best IPA’s around at the moment. 

Polly’s El Dorado Deluxe Like freshly squeezed orange juice on the pour with thick mouth feel. This absolute juice bomb is delicious, slightly tart with a hint of clove lingering on the tongue.

This week I have been mostly drinking craft beer!

Welcome to our first blog post – This week we have had the pleasure of trying some amazing beers from Squawk brewing company, Pomona Island, Alphabet brewing company, and Beatnikz republic.  we will list the beers below and in very short order you should find our review on their individual product pages (we will link from the post when complete).  We hope you find some worthwhile information in there but feel free to email any questions you might have to us and if you like what you read consider joining our mailing list so we can keep you updated on all our new offerings.

Squawk brewing company – Passer 6.2% 440ml IPA A stunning pale with a good mouthfeel, a solid hop base with a delicious mango flavour!

Squawk brewing company – Lori 8% 440ml DDH IPA A murky dense Dry hopped pale with initial hints of mandarin which develops much more further down the glass!  Note on serving temperature.

Pomona Island – Factotum 4% 440ml Session IPA A sophisticated start to the night with a solid bitterness base and interesting minerality to it. Belies it’s ABV with it’s depth of flavour

Pomona Island Phaedra 5.3% 440ml Session IPA A super smooth session with a gentle malty backbone.  The pomona island trade mark flinty presence is detaectable – I’d like to try this paired with food similar to what I would with a white burgandy (more on the stronger side of dishes)
